Coleman was a Lancashire resident born in Blackpool. She was the head girl in the Arnold School, Blackpool and had straight A's at her A levels. Steven Moffat, the producer of Doctor Who confirmed in a 21st March press conference on the show that Coleman will be Matt Smith's partner following the departure of Karen Gillan left. Moffat stated that he picked Coleman to be the companion due to her ability to be the best companion for Smith. Also, Moffat noted that she spoke faster than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She has been in the industry of entertainment since 1987. However, she is better recognized for her TV shows as opposed to films. Eva has appeared in a number of television parts, however Dr. Maria Santos from All My Children as well as Detective Natalia Boavistas from CSI Miami have stood out. The role that she first appeared on television earned two Daytime Emmy nominations, and helped her develop the love of music in her. Eva is an entrepreneur and also an actor. Her third husband is the father of her daughter.
