Coleman was born at Blackpool Lancashire. She went to Arnold School Blackpool as head girl. She also scored every A grade on her A level exams. When discussing her character on Emmerdale, Coleman said that she regrets that she did not have a traditional university experiences. Coleman became a member of the theater group, In Yer Space while during her time at university. She performed with them during the Edinburgh Festival for the play Crystal Clear. She won an award for her performance and the show was highly praised. Coleman was offered the role of Jasmine Thomas at Emmerdale while performing in drama school in 2005. Coleman got two nominations in 2007. In 2007, the British Soap Awards nominated her for the title of best newcomer. At the National Television Awards, she was also nominated best newcomer with the highest popularity. In 2009, she was awarded nominations for two categories: Best Actress-Sexiest Female and Best Performance Dramatic. Coleman was nominated for Best Actress from the TV Choice Awards. Steven Moffat announced at a Doctor Who press conference on 21 March that Coleman, who had replaced Karen Gillan as the companion of the Doctor following Arthur Darvill left the series and was to play the role of Matt Smith. Moffat chose her for the part because she was the most effective in her interactions with Smith and was able to speak faster than the actor. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She has been in the industry for over 30 years and is associated in numerous TV and film projects. She has been much prominent on TV as opposed to films. Eva is best known for her role in the role of Dr. Maria Santos on All My Children as well as detective Natalia Boa Vistas from CSI Miami. In the latter, she even received two 'Daytime Emmy' nominations and allowed her to experiment with her talents in music. Eva is an entrepreneur, philanthropist and the philanthropist. Eva is married to three men and has a child from the second.
