Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American broadcast journalist. Best known for anchoring the CNN morning program At This Hour, Bolduan is an American journalist on the broadcast. Earlier she co-anchored the CNN weekday morning program New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan was part of CNN s award-winning coverage of the 2016 and 2012 presidential elections. She also spent time as a reporter in Washington DC as a correspondent for the US House, and US Senate. Bolduan has covered legislative and congressional events, such as discussions on raising the debt ceiling of the US and the super committee's discussions. Bolduan worked as an associate reporter on general assignments. She has covered events like the Christmas Day 2009 bombing attempt and the Supreme Court's landmark decision on Obamacare. Also, she covered the introduction of stimulus programs in 2009. In 2007 she joined CNN as a national correspondent with CNN Newsource. As a CNN Newsource correspondent, she reported on breaking news and produced feature reports for more than 800 CNN Newsource members. In the past, she has been employed at NBC News MSNBC as well as WTVD-TV. She lives with her family within New York City.
